Glance is a Mac app made by Shashank Sudhir Patil, trading as Glance, based in Nashik, India ("we"). This page explains what information we handle when you visit this website, buy Glance, and use the app.

The app

Glance does not collect your data or send it to us. Your scripts are saved only on your Mac. When you use voice scrolling, your microphone audio is processed by Apple's speech recognition on your Mac; for a few languages macOS sends audio to Apple's servers, and the app tells you when that happens. The app has no analytics or tracking.

The app contacts Dodo Payments to activate and check your licence key, and our website to check for updates. These requests include your licence key and the app version, and nothing else.

When you buy

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our reseller and the merchant of record for every order, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, country, the amount paid and an order ID. We never see your card or bank details. We use your email to send your licence key, download link, receipts and important product notices.

This website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The live demo uses your browser's own speech recognition while you use it, and nothing is saved.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, and so we can restore your licence if you lose it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@glanceprompter.com. We reply within 30 days. Some purchase records must be kept for legal reasons.
